What times are your tours?
Tours depart at 8:15 a.m., 10:15 a.m., 12:15 p.m., 2:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. daily, weather permitting. We ask that you arrive at the Overland Tours office (located at 48 S. Lake Powell Blvd, inside the "Thunderbird Art Gallery") at least 15 minutes prior to tour departure.
What can we bring along on the tour? Is camera equipment permitted?
Photographers are always welcome on Overland Canyon Tours. We recommend a sturdy tripod and cable release, plenty of film or memory cards, extra batteries, along with a case for your camera and gear. The canyon is very sandy and you should take necessary precautions to protect your equipment. You may also bring a small cooler if you prefer, but water is provided.
Do we have to be physically fit to take this tour? Is there much hiking?
You should be able to walk in deep sand for about one-quarter mile. It does get quite warm in the summer months.
What type of shoes should we wear?
Hiking boots are not necessary, but we do recommend sturdy sneakers.
Can you accommodate larger groups?
We can accommodate groups up to 40 guests.
Will you pick us up at our hotel?
You can arrange for pickup at any Page hotel. Our vehicle will be waiting outside the lobby 15 minutes prior to the schedule tour departure.
