For those looking for a more physical experience of slot canyon country, we offer hiking tours year round The focus of these tours is to explore the hidden slot canyons of the Navajo Nation.
This is a fabulous opportunity to witness the results of eons of Nature's magic as it sculpts rock using wind, water and time. The incredible beauty of these formations will captivate your imagination and leave you breathless.
You must be relatively physically fit and moderate skills. Hikes are up to eight miles in distance and cover a variety of terrains such as sand dunes, slick rock and typical southwestern washes.
These tours are guided by area experts who will give you an overview of the geology, flora and fauna of the area. We provide transportation to and from the trailhead, drinking water, lunches on certain hikes, and our guide is with you for the entire hike. Rates vary. Custom hikes may be arranged.
